Fiordland Families Newsletter Issue 69 - June 2025

Welcome to Winter.

With everyone spending more time indoors, we have a feature on the impacts of screentime and ideas on how to navigate this, sometimes complicated, issue with your children. We are excited to present a few Winter Dance Jam events this month for primary school kids. They are hour long fun dance sessions in the Event Centre that will hopefully lift all our moods. There is also info about an online babysitting course, to look into for any potential babysitters you want to hire, or if your teen is looking to boost their skills and confidence for a job.

Since our newsletter was published, an announcement has been made for a fun monthly Te Anau Youth Club, starting Friday 27th June at the Fiordland Community Events Centre, for youth in Years 6-13. Watch out on Facebook for more details, or for more information or to support/lend a hand, email teanauyouthclub@gmail.com.
