Fiordland Families Newsletter Issue 34 - February 2022

We hope you have all had a great break over the holidays, or if you’ve been busy working (including looking after the kids!) that you’ve at least had a chance to put your feet up and enjoy some of the beautiful Fiordland weather.

In this 34th issue of the FFN newsletter there is lots of information to help you set up new routines for Term 1. As we navigate the ‘Red Setting’ there will be some differences, but much of life will stay the same, as Kathryn Write reflects in he article on page 3 - much of life is not cancelled.

The weekly roster of term time activities is back and we will adjust these as the term gets started - keep an eye on our Facebook page for more updates. Waitangi Day, 6th Feb, is marked this long weekend and the local Waitangi Trust have put together a fantastic free line up for our community.

There are still plenty of summery days ahead (we are hoping) so see page 4 for water safety tips, visit the community garden, the bird sanctuary and other special spots in our area. There is plenty out there to see and do.
