Welcome to the 20th issue of the Fiordland Families Network (FFN) newsletter! With the special time of Matariki coming up (13-20 July), we take the opportunity to:
Reflect - The last year has been one full of change and uncertainty for Fiordland. In our editorial Kathryn Wright shares some coping strategies and ways to help each other with the feelings of shock, anger and depression that loss and grief can bring.
Celebrate - School holidays are coming up so we share some ideas for ways to spend quality time with family and friends and explore our beautiful backyard. We also celebrate the help and support available for people in our community who are in tough situations.
Look forward to the next year - We look ahead to some great events coming up and are excited to see our What’s On section filling back up with activities that we can start enjoying again.
